Green Technology boost’s nano tech 2009 |

The eight edition of nano tech introduced “Green Technology” as a specific theme. Many enterprises and organizations exhibited products and technologies such as solar cells, CO2 reduction technology or water and soil purification technology that contribute to reducing environmental burden. The event highlighted exhibitors’ environmental efforts by using nanotechnology.

The Worlds Largest Nano Technology Exhibition! |

The eighth edition of the exhibition and conference is more international in scope than ever. 606 companies and organizations representing 21 countries and regions will exhibit at 905 booths. Led by a 98-booth German Pavilion, 280 of the booths will be operated by 213 overseas companies and organizations. Japan, known for its leading role in manufacturing, will host once again this world’s largest nanotechnology exhibition. 50,000 visitors from around the world are expected to attend the event. Swissnanotech celebrates Mars landing |

The Swiss will hold a reception to celebrate the landing of the first AFM in space. The NASA's Phoenix probe on Mars is outfitted with an Atomic Force Microscope which is expected to study the history of water and the habitability of the Martian ice-rich soil. Nanosurf AG, manufacturer of the AFM and a leading nanotech company from Switzerland, is sponsoring this networking reception and its Chairman will be on hand to give a presentation about the project. |
